Collision involving Class 105

Info from The Railway Magazine Otober 1973 p535

A DMU ran through trap points at Wigan North Western and hit an overhead catenary support causing it to lean over, blocking both mainline tracks. The Wigan breakdown train removed the DMU vehicles during the early hours of the following morning. The vehicles involved are thought to be M50753 which sustained substantial cab damage, and M50800.
