A couple of slightly unusual Derby Heavyweight units at Grantham in August 1971. On the left E56019 carries an early version of the rail blue livery with just a yellow panel and the BR logo on the cab door. On the right the set of formed of two DMBSs with a Met-Camm centre car inbetween (E50018 + E59542 + E50003). Mel Smith.
On the 10th July 1978 50008 is on the rear of a 114 set heading away from the camera and about to cross the swing bridge at Selby, led by 56028. Malcolm Clements.
A Class 114 DMU with E50008 closest arrives at Worksop station with a service for Cleethorpes - probably from Sheffield, date unknown. Paul Redmond.
