A Class 116 passing a Peak alongside the Worcester & Birmingham canal between University and Five Ways on 14 July 1980. On left is 50885, so the centre car should be 59029, they would form set TS540 at this time with 50832. Neil Smith.
Class 116 DMU set TY540 at Widney Manor in spring 1974. DMS M50085 is closest, the other two are presumably 59029 + 50832. All three had spend their first few years at Cardiff before moving to Tyseley in November 1964. Michael Mensing.
The 6.14pm Lichfield - Kidderminster service is seen at Shenstone on April 3rd, 1975. M50832 leads, probably with 59029 + 50885. Michael Mensing.

A class 116 dmu (set TS540, presumably 50832 + 59029 + 50885) has just left Nuneaton Trent Valley station and approaches the site of Nuneaton Abbey Street station (closed 1968) 28/8/1977 with a Leicester to Birmingham New Street service. The end cottage on the left bears evidence that the occupants were supporters of the notorious career criminal George Davis who was wrongly imprisoned for an offence but ended up committing numerous crimes!
