Alongside refurbished Class 108's & Class 101's, a tidy-looking Class 101 Driving Motor Composite Lavatory (DMCL) M50334 (a three-car set formed of M50334/M59172/M50316) and based at Chester, was stabled inside the depot building at Llandudno Junction on May 26th 1979. Martyn Hilbert.
A hybrid set departs Harlech with a Pwllheli - Barmouth service on Thursday 23rd April, 1981. Around that time, Chester had a set formed 50316 - 59172 - 50334 which is probably this set. Colin Brooks.
