DMU

Date: July 1967

Metropolitan Cammell Class 251 8-car "Blue Pullman" dmu (for working “The Bristol Pullman” and "The South Wales Pullman") with the Type 1 1,000hp power car No.W60097 leading, folllowed by W60647, W60737, W60747 (all in the original Nanking Blue & White Pullman livery) and W60744, W60736, W60646, W60096 (all in the revised reversed White & Nanking Blue Pullman livery with all-yellow front end) at the Open Day at Old Oak Common depot, 07/67. The 8-car sets were actually two 4-car sets coupled together, hence two different liveries of this 8-car "set". Note elongated Pullman crest on nose - and no yellow warning panel. Hugh Llewelyn.
