Metropolitan Cammell Class 251 8-car "Blue Pullman" dmu Nos.W60099, W60649, W60739, W60749, W60748, W60738, W60648, W60098 on the Paddington-Swansea (High St) "South Wales Pullman" with Type 1 1,000hp power car leading, in the Nanking Blue & White Pullman livery with an all-yellow warning front end that unfortunately covered the Pullman emblem, at Neath (General), 06/67. Leeds on the 15th of January 1972 and one of the Western Region Pullman units is in town. The unit was used on a Football special from Bristol for Rovers Supporters and is about to return. The set was made up of 60093 + 60738 + 60748 + 60749 + 60739 + 60648 + 60649 + 60099. Leeds beat Bristol Rovers 4-1 in the FA Cup Game. The KDH Archive.

Note the chimneys of the East Moors Steeelworks on the skyline behind the train (closed in 1978 and now long gone) and the girders of the old Arms Park on the far left (also gone replaced by Millenium Stadium in 1998).
