Collision involving Derby Lightweight / steam

Info from p37 February 1957 Railway Observer

M79643 + M79122, working the 2.5pm Lichfield City to Birmingham New Street service in very foggy weather collided with a light engine (a 2-6-4T) at Proof House Junction on the approach to New Street. The front end of the DTCL was badly damaged and the set would be moved to Curzon Street goods yard where it remained for over a month. While the clear-up was underway traffic for Four Oaks was diverted via the Stour Valley line and Handsworth loop to Aston, where trains reversed to reach the Sutton line. The image shows M79643 under repair at Derby.
