Details

The Wymondham & Dereham Rail Action Committee (WyDRAC), the Railway Development Society (RDS) and the newly-formed Fakenham and Dereham Railway Society chartered two 2-car Class 105 DMU sets to operate the 'Fakenham Flyer' on 21/Apr/1979. It ran to Dereham before heading to Fakenham and then operating a shuttle service to Ryburgh, County School, North Elmham and back to Dereham and Fakenham. Seen at Norwich. The lead car was 56132, presumably with 51259, and 51277 + 56125. Note that there is no set number in the cab window - set number 62 appeared later in the day!
