The Wymondham & Dereham Rail Action Committee (WyDRAC), the Railway Development Society (RDS) and the newly-formed Fakenham and Dereham Railway Society chartered two 2-car Class 105 DMU sets to operate the 'Fakenham Flyer' on 21/Apr/1979. It ran to Dereham before heading to Fakenham and then operating a shuttle service to Ryburgh, County School, North Elmham and back to Dereham and Fakenham. Seen at Norwich. The lead car was 56116 and the rest of the formation included 51277 and 56125 but one of the DMBSs went unrecorded.
