In a then everyday scene, with rolling stock that now is no longer in service, this was the view from the footbridge at Manchester Piccadilly on February 28th 1992 before the station roof was given a refurbishment. Regional Railways liveried Class 305 305507 was awaiting departure with a service to Glossop and Hadfield, while in platform 1 was a two-car Class 108 formed of cars M54275 & M51421 (LO253), on a service to New Mills Central.
