Having just passed under the M6 Motorway, A Class 104/108 combo was approaching Bamber Bridge with a Colne to Preston service on April 10th 1982. The leading BRCW Class 104 set was formed of Driving Motor Brake Second (DMBS) M50467 & Driving Motor Composite Lavatory (DMCL) M50519. Both sets were complete with their first class saloons.
