Sunday Shift. Derby 107 448 on the rear of a six car set, leaving Paisley Canal on a Glasgow Central - Ayr working. It is heading towards the mainline at Elderslie No.1. The Canal line closed in January 1983 but this is a Sunday diversion due to engineering work. For a period of time post closure, the Canal line acted as a relief during engineering works or emergencies on the main line via Gilmour Street. April 1983.
