Derby built Class 108 Driving Trailer Second Lavatory (DTSL) M52064 was arriving at Rufford whilst leading a Preston to Ormskirk service on July 25th 1985. The car was one of the final batch of Class 108's built at Derby in 1961 and was the penultimate vehicle constructed of a total of 333 cars built to various configurations. M52064 has survived into preservation at the Severn Valley Railway.
