A 2-car Class 114 DMU (vehicles 56047 + 50030) calls at Edale working the 12.20 Sheffield-New Mills on 25 October 1977. The 2 vehicles had a long working life on BR. 50030 was new (to 40A Lincoln) on 24 January 1957, and was withdrawn from TS Tyseley on 4 October 1987. It was scrapped at MC Metals, in Glasgow. 56047 was new (also to 40A) on 17 April 1957 and was withdrawn from TS on 4 October 1989. It is now preserved on the Strathspey Railway.
