A Class 116 centre car is shunted under the crane at Snailwell for its bogies to be removed. Image 1 of 6, probably early 1988. The last digit in the number is obscured, five 5935x vehicles cut there (1/5/6/7/8), 5/6/7 in that period. The latter is believed to still have had a W prefix, 59356 did leaving 59355. A row of Met-Camms is on the left and the cab of a Class 116 can be seen in the distance by the cab of the 03.
