Brightening-up an overcast Winter day, the Eastern Region General Managers saloon formed of a Gloucester Class 100 DMU, was stood at Doncaster on February 13th 1987. The set was formed of cars 975664 (ex E51122) & 975637 (E56300), and it was the only First Generation DMU to be painted in Provincial Services 'Sprinter' livery as applied to the Class 150/1 fleet when new. Unfortunately the set was scrapped in 1990.
