On 23rd August 1980 the BLS “Lothian & Fife Wanderer” covered a number of freight lines around Edinburgh and Fife, formed of 3 car Met Camm set 51224+59067+50243. I did not travel on this but chose to take some photos, sadly only with a Kodak Instamatic. Here it is seen passing through Newington on the Edinburgh South Suburban line, the station here closed in 1962 and has since been razed to track level.
