Adrossan Town station on 23 March 1986 just before electrification of the route was expected to commence. At the head of the line of Class 101/107 units is Metro-Cammell hybrid unit 101430 (comprising 51803 + 59802 + 52008) in Strathclyde PTE livery. A full electrified service commenced from 19th January 1987.
