On a snowy March 23rd 1980, a Derby built Class 107 Driving Motor Brake Second SC52002, complete with 'Greater Glasgow Trans-Clyde' branding, had been split from three-car set 148 and was stood in the yard at Hamilton Depot. SC52002 would be finally withdrawn from service in March 1986 and scrapped at Ayr Depot.
