A four-car and two-car Met-Camm DMUs, with what seems to be a CCT on the rear. The details came with the negative suggested this was drawing into Backworth station, and with no third rail this would be the route from Seghill, and likey a service from Newbiggin to Newcastle. With the yellow panel and no blue vehicles, the date will be circa mid-1960s. The image was from the Steve Davies Collection.
