Class 101 DMU set L837 departs from Redhill, date unknown. Closest is presumably 53751, it moved from Neville Hill to Reading in January 1988 and was in NSE livery by June 1989 so this could be circa 1988, and obviously winter. A Class 117 can be seen in the platform behind.
