Whilst at Llandudno Station on the 4th September 1997 DMU 101683 made up of 51177, 59303 and 53269 arrived from Blaenau Ffestiniog working through to Llandudno. DMUs were getting increasingly rare on the national network but the North West still had some pockets where they were used.
