The photograph is taken from under the Camp Hill line looking towards Pershore Road bridge in Birmingham. The DMU is on what is now a road and it has just come under the bridge, to the right of it are the neglected sidings of Lifford canal branch wharf. This was taken on the occasion of a Birmingham University Railway and Inland Waterways Society special on 17th March 1962 by Peter Shoesmith. The Six Bells Junction website lists the vehicles as 50884 + 59339 + 50831.
