Gloucester DMBS Class 122 55012 is leaving Stourbridge Junction for Stourbridge Town on 31/12/1983, it is passing one of the two operating signals on the branch (there was a fixed distant further down). In those days the service was sparse compared with the 10 minute schedule maintained by the class 139 units, the 122's would sit and dwell for about 10 or 15 minutes between wheezing up or down the line.
