W51337 + W59489 + W51379 were delivered new to 81D, Reading, in March 1960, and remained as a set at the Berkshire depot until W51337 was withdrawn on 22nd October 1990. W59489 remained at RG until 20th March 1992 before being transferred to TS and then HA, from where it was withdrawn in April 1998, whilst W51379 lingered on at RG until its withdrawal on 27th March 1992.
