With the 'Bobby' quick on the ball the peg has already been replaced as Norwich based 3-Car Class 101 Met-Cam DMU set E53267 + E59095 + E53266 runs past the signal box at Leicester North to enter the platforms at Leicester station whilst forming the 0852 Cambridge - Birmingham New Street service on 12 November 1985. Notice the RETB aerial mounted above the secondman's windscreen. This was fitted for working the East Suffolk Line from Ipswich - Lowestoft in the mid 1980's.
