Class 101 set B820 (51512 + 59093 + 51500) at Yeovil Junction on 11/10/1980 while working the Great Western Society 'Devon Rambler' railtour. Although still in blue livery, the front ends have had the headcode boxes removed. The destination blind has been painted over. Unusually, the yellow band for the first class accommodation has been extended above the first door, which also has the number 1. This was a long-term three-car formation, which I observed operating still intact in the Leeds area in 1989. Both driving motors 51500 and 51512 were late survivors, and 51512 is preserved.
