A class 104 power twin formed of 53499 (nearer camera) and 53439 is seen stabled at Lancaster on 19/6/89. The unit was later seen at Morecambe. Leonard Rogers.

Two three-car BRC&W sets arriving into London Euston station, date unknown. The W584 in the cab window and signs on many passenger windows indicate that this an excursion. M50500 leads which was a Cockshute vehicle and has Stoke-on-Trent is on the destination blind. Stuart Mackay Collection.

A three-car hybrid set at Derby Midland circa 1969. Closest is BRC&W DMC M50501, possibly the only vehicle of the type to have a full yellow end while still in green livery, also unusual in having a first class stripe. The other two vehicles are in blue, a BRC&W centre car and a Cravens DMBS. Nottingham is on the destination blind. Graham Clark.
