31st December 1988
New Year Eve 1988 sees a NSE class 108 DMU arriving at Ridgmont from Bedford. The Bedford Arms pub in the background, complete with a collection of car hub caps (!), closed in the mid-1990s and was later demolished. The station is actually in Husborne Crawley. In 1989 a Class 108 DTCL / Class 115 DMBS is seen at the rear of a four-car set (a 115, maybe a 108 at the far end) from Marylebone passing West Hampstead. Tony Walmsley.
