Class 101 51205 (with 51512) seen running as 861 at Cardiff Central. It had been P861, but at this time was officially C861. Note the off-center headlamp which remained in this position even after refurbishment/facelifting when it became part of 101676. Taken on 29/6/91. Mac Winfield.

Class 116 set C307 is seen at Rhymney, which has two DMBSs, closest is probably 53820. The centre car is probably 59482 and the other power car 53083. Undated, the white dome dates it to circa 1987. Tom Clift.

This 'intermediate' car (the now preserved 51017) still has it's gangway fitted, and carries a cover once commonly used on the back of hauled stock. The Class 126s generally always ran latterly with the buckeyes permanently raised. Malcolm Clements.
