Class 107 Giffen 29 Aug 1981. The 1981 BLS Scottish Tour was the Ayrshire Wanderer which ran in two parts. The Saturday tour started and finished at Glasgow Central and here we are at the old Giffen station. It was formed of set 428 (52013 + 59786 + 51988). Alistair Ness.

Dundee Depot View 19 Apr 1981 An unrepeatable scene taken from Perth Road. As well as two Class 06s, a 25 and a 40 there are 15 class 101 Met Cams visible on shed and an Aberdeen bound HST coming past off the Tay Bridge. Alistair Ness.

Class 100 E51115 at York station on 27 September 1980. We had travelled from Edinburgh overnight to join the RCTS (West Riding Branch) North Eastern No.5 Railtour but this meant hours roaming York station in the wee small hours waiting for the first train of the day to Leeds.
