W50673 leads two Swindon Cross-Country DMUs at Acocks Green. The service was the 12.25pm Birmingham Snow Hill - Carmarthen, although Cardiff General is on the destination blind. Michael Mensing.
A three-car Met-Camm DMU near Hayburn Wyke on 24 July 1958. Note one power car has the lion over wheel crest, the other a coaching roundel, suggesting a non-original formation - the DMCL will be from a four-car set. Michael Mensing.

Seen from the River Drive Bridge, a twin DMU sits in the headshunt beside the turntable at South Shields. Closest is Gloucester DTCL E56099, it is paired with a Blue Square Derby Lightweight DMBS. The Derby suburban vehicle on the right seems to be a single car and not in a set, possibly with a tank wagon behind, and with Tavistock on the destination blind it could be in the process of being moved to/from works and Plymouth depot.
