As stated in our previous report the brakevan accomodation is inadequate on certain of the services but this matter is in hand in connection with future schemes.
There is noticeable deterioration in the chronium fittings, particularly on the doors and handles. Comment has also been made on this section by passengers on the difficulty on opening the doors from inside due to the bars across window lights.
(5) Loading.
The introduction of the diesel services has resulted in increased carryings and with the object of fostering further business, it is proposed to operate a number of additional services commencing with the summer timetable on the 13th June.
(6) Any other items of interest.
Public Reaction to the introduction of the diesels on this section has again been very favourable.
