2. Allocation of Units being built at Derby and by Contractors

857. SERVICING AND MAINTENANCE ARRANGEMENTS.

Minutes of Sub-Committee Meeting held on 25th April 1961.

Noted with the following comments.

Minute 1074 - Saltley (Diesel Locomotives)

Mr. Beatty stated the C.C.E. was awaiting details of the Pump House from the C.M.&.E.E. an Mr. Stanley would look into this matter.

Minute 1077 - Leicester (Diesel Locomotives)

Mr. Flint reported that the question of the release of the wagon repair road for use as a fuel discharge road had been resolved and the C.C.E. would be advised today.  The only alteration was the retention of a siding which would otherwise be removed and in the light of this Mr. Beatty would re-examine the position with a view to the information being supplied to the Planning Officer in June.

Minute 1089 - Marylebone Carriage Shed (Multiple Units)

Mr. Beatty stated that the depot would be ready in time for the service to start on 12th June, but some small items might still be outstanding.  These would not seriously affect the operation of the depot and the work would be completed soon after that date.

Minute 1091 - Kirkdale (Multiple Units)

Mr. Riley stated the Chief Accountant had not yet received the estimates from the Chief Signal & Telecommunications Engineer and Mr.Flint would ascertain the position.

Mr. Beatty said the Chief Civil Engineer was awaiting approval of the D.T.S. regarding the cross-over roads and Mr.Gould would follow up this matter.
