OPERATION
1. Marylebone Suburban Services
(a) Progress of bogie modification and
refurbishing of stock
It was noted that only one vehicle remained to be dealt with
and this was working on the Liverpool (Central) - Manchester (Central)
service.
Mr.Thatcher undertook to look into the question of releasing
this vehicle for early attention.
908. SCHEMES IN OPERATION
(a) Watford - St.Albans and Harrow - Belmont
It was noted that the Line Traffic Manager, Crewe, had referred
the matter to the Divisional Traffic Manager to develop plans fot the
withdrawal of these services.
(b) Traffic Receipts
The statement of receipts and tickets issued during the month of
August, 1961, for those schemes with less than 12 months operation, noted
and attached as Appendix 'A' .
A preliminary report on the small increase in receipts on the
Leicester (London Road) - Nuneaton T.V. service had been received from the
L.T.M., Derby, and further detailed information was awaited.
