On a misty Autumn morning with the sun trying to break through, a Derby Class 108 two-car DMU formed of cars M54257 + M51919 was running on bullhead rail as it departed from the village of Croston with an Ormskirk to Preston service on October 26th 1985. Martyn Hilbert.
7th April 1979
With its tail lamp in place and the brake van door open, a two-car Class 108 DMU formed of cars M56251 + M50968 was stood at Ormskirk with a service to Preston on April 7th 1979. Martyn Hilbert.
5th April 1982
Three twin DMUs in Liverpool Lime Street on Monday 5 April 1982. The Class 108 set closest has DMSL M51571, Wigan on the destination blind. The second set seems to be a Class 108/101 hybrid. David Russon.
