22nd May 1967
Two twins pass through Delamere Forest, Cheshire, with a Manchester bound service at 1428 on Friday 22 May 1967. A Blue Square Derby Lightweight set leads, DMBS M50947 closest, the rear set is a Blue Square Derby Lightweight DTCL (in blue with yellow panel) and BRC&W DMBS M50541 is on the rear. 15th April 1961
M985 was an SLS rail tour on 15/04/1961, using a Derby 108 and a Cravens unit to the Cromford & High Peak railway on that railway they had 68013 & 68030. The participants are "enjoying" a photo stop in the rain at Ashbourne. The tour, officially known as the North Staffs, Buxton & Cromford and High Peak, had started from Burton on Trent.
The Station Hotel is a Bass house and the signal is upper quadrant, it had a timber platform and the signal box is on the right.
