Original - DMBS: 534, DMS: 535, TC: 601. These are the same diagrams as the Class 117 vehicles.
(Note that the Battery Multiple Unit had originally been allocated to the diagrams
534 / 535).
As the vehicles were being gangwayed an ammended version of 601 was released with a reduced number of vehicles noted, just three centre cars that were not gangwayed at the time (59478 - 59480) - 601 ammended, 601(A) ammended with note. These three un-gangwayed centre cars were working in Class 117 sets.
Gangwayed - DMBS: 850, DMS: 852, TC: 851. Note in these versions they are wrongly quoted as being built by Pressed Steel.
These are alternate versions with notes added showing the vehicle's original diagrams - 850, 852, 851
In 1980 the diagrams were re-issued as design codes.
