The 11:01 Kilmacolm - Glasgow service on December 23, 1982, if formed of a Class 107 / 101 hybrid set. Seen at Houston, the leading DMBS is labelled 107 432 and is presumably 51992. Hamish Stevenson.
One of three images taken at Elderslie on 8 July 1984 - it is unclear what the original order was (see comment for image 33546). In this view, a six-car formation in the siding contains DMSL SC52026 from set 107432 with two 101 vehicles, and a 104/107/107 combo, thought to be 53565 + 59800 + 51992. The engines are being revved up, but there is no sign of smoke from the closest car or the 104, that and the Class 47 could be signs that this train had been a failure. Stuart Mackay Collection.
One of three images taken at Elderslie on 8 July 1984 - it is unclear what the original order was (see comment for image 33546). In this view, a six-car formation heads in the Glasgow direction past Elderslie No.1 signal box onto the Paisley Canal lines. The formation contained DMSL SC52026 from set 107432 closest working with two 101 vehicles, and a 104/107/107 combo, thought to be 53565 + 59800 + 51992. Stuart Mackay Collection.
Two sets near Girvan with a northbound service on 7th August 1985. The leading has had the 432 removed from the set number, it would probably mean this is 52026. It seems to be a 107/107/possibly 104 formation. John Crooks.
