Cravens DMBS E50249 is seen at Doncaster in the early stages of scrapping. Most of the underframe items are gone. Date unknown, but it was put into store in July/August 1977 and withdrawn in April 1978. Stuart Pearce.
A Cravens / Met-Camm combo (the DMBS could be E50249, the only Cravens allocated to Darlington) in Melmerby station on the Harrogate to Northallerton line, looking north. Date unknown. The trackbed of the Masham branch can be seen on the left. Stuart Mackay Collection.
Evening at Spalding Town. A Cravens diesel multiple unit (the vehicles are thought to be E56439 + E50249) stands at Spalding station on the evening of Saturday 24th April 1976. I would have taken this photo whilst waiting to board the return day excursion train I had travelled on from Bristol. Tom Harper.
