A Class 117 DMU, which appears to be set L418 with 51397 leading, seen in June 1984. Taken from St. Marys Road bridge, three quarters of a mile west of Langley at a place called Middle Green, and looking west towards Slough. Andrew Malloy.

Network South East liveried Pressed Steel Class 117; Set L418 with 51397 leading (and presumably 59507 + 51355), approaching Southall station on the Up Relief line with a service for Paddington. Since the Heathrow electrification work took place this view is completely impossible with a large signal gantry erected very close to the road bridge where this was taken from. 10tn May 1988.
