In refurbished DMU white livery, a two-car Class 108 DMU stands at Bamber Bridge with the 13.46 Colne to Preston service on July 30th 1981. The leading car is M52054 complete with its first class saloon behind the cab. Looking at the cab front the car has been in the wars, and a piece of plywood across the former headcode box typifies the state that many of the local DMUs were in around this period. Martyn Hilbert.
