A Class 108 DMBS (50604) / Class 100 DTC combo is seen at Alston after arrival with 1200 ex-Haltwhistle on Friday 08/09/1967. It would be be nearly nine years before the branch closed in May 1976. Graeme Phillips Collection.

Leeds Neville Hill allocated Class 108 2 car set formed of DTCL E54199 and DMBS E53604 are stabled at Hull Botanic Gardens TMD on the 11th May 1988. Both vehicles are wearing 'Metrotrain' decals and would continue in service for a short while before being scrapped at Vic Berry's Yard in Leicester during June 1988. Bob Woolnough.
