Class 120 at Pembroke Dock on 3 May 1979 What a dump. And my pic isn't much better either, taken straight into the light, but I wanted to capture the dereliction. It's noteworthy that the train has stopped short of the wreckage of the station buildings yet it was perfectly OK for us passengers to walk under the canopy! It wouldn't happen nowadays. This is W50691 + W59277 + W50728 forming the first train of the day down the branch which we joined at Saundersfoot after spending the night in the Youth Hostel there. Alistair Ness.
The 11:35 Milford Haven - Swansea service arrives into Haverfordwest on the 17th April 1980. Formed of Swindon Cross-country DMU set C613 (presumably 50691 + 59277 + 50728). By the end of the year it was transferred from Cardiff to Chester depot. Hamish Stevenson.
Six DMU cars are seen between 47125 and 08303 at Derby on 17 February 1981. All but one are Class 120s: 50691, 50651 + 59290 + 50736, 59135 (104) and 50653. Possibly bound for Litchurch Lane? Andrew Bond.
Swindon Class 120 Set C613 (presumably W50691-W59277-W50728) seen at Shrewsbury on the 1st June 1976 with a working from Swansea via the Heart of Wales line which, according to the blind, will soon undertake the return journey. As befits a unit operating via this route is the external spot light fixture fitted just below the destination blind. Steve Carter.
