24th September 1989 - Seen withdrawn at Crewe Basford Hall Yard
19/02/00 - 977191, 59228 and 54350 were dragged by two Class 20s from long term storage at Crewe South Carriage sidings to the Adtranz Works (drop off the 100) then Gresty Lane where the other two were due to be moved by road (104 to Telford/preservation and 101 to Shoeburyness).

977191 was formerly 56106, a Gloucester Railway Carriage & Wagon Class 100 driving trailer classified as DTCL, as it had first and second class within, as well as a toilet, It was withdrawn way back in July 1983, but ended up here at Crewe, lingering there until 2002. It is seen at Crewe Works Open Day on the 21st May 2000. Andrew J Crowther.

An assortment of parcels DMUs converted from former "Bed-Pan" hydraulic class 127 units stand forlornly withdrawn in Crewe Basford Hall yard on 21/Jul/1990, with 55975 (formerly 51615) nearest. Three vehicles from these parcels conversions were subsequently preserved. Behind 55975 can just be seen departmental coach ADB977191, formerly class 100 56106, which was later moved for storage at Crewe Brook Sidings and ultimately disposed of at Crewe Works in 2000. Seen at Crewe in April 1997, on the far right, are derelict Class 101 DTCL no. 54350, with Class 104 TBSL no. 59228 and Class 100 DTCL no. 977191 behind. In the middle is Class 304 unit no. 008 and on the left some graffiti-covered Class 308 vehicles. Robert Chilton.

Class 101 DTCL 54350, Class 104 TBSL 59228 and Class 100 DTCL 977191 are dragged though Crewe on 19/2/00 after a long period of storage at the South Carriage Sidings. The 100 would be dropped off at the Adtranz Works, the other two were moved to Gresty Lane ready for road movement, the 101 to Shroeburyness and the 104 to preservation at Telford. Frank Nicholas.
