DMU

Date: 18th June 1979

Set number: TS501

M50057 (TS501, presumably with 59001 + 50097) is working wrong line, it has just terminated with a working from Moor Street and is running back into a refuge siding so that a Stratford service can pass. Both the signal box and the running in board have gone but the rest of the station is still very GWR. The odd grey pipe out of the window of the box was for the signaller to water his flower beds from, the other distinct signal box feature is the white wall under the window next to the sink where hundreds of tea dregs have been thrown out and have run down the window ledge. 18th June 1979. Geoff Dowling.
