E50239 leads a twelve-car Met-Camm formation at Shildon 31 August 1975. These shuttles on the day of the 150th cavalcade ran to Darlington, and the November 1975 edition of The Railway Observer (p351) lists this formation as 50239 + 59087 + 59094 + 51505 / 50295 + 56075 / 51438 + 59573 + 59086 + 51506 / 56083 + 51209. A Met-Camm formation in the white / blue stripe livery in York station on August 1977. Closest is a 111 four-car. The slide had three numbers noted: E50288 which seems to be closest, 59094 and 50140 which are a 101 TBSL and DMCL, possibly the far set. Stuart Mackay Collection.
