Class 122 Gloucester RC&W Single W55015 at Didcot on on 06/10/1960 with a service via the now closed Didcot Newbury and Southampton Railway DN&SR. The northern section of the line, between Didcot and Newbury was closed on 10 September 1962. Nigel Walls.

55015 seen at Stirling 14/5/71. The different tone of blue between the nearest cab door and the first 'passenger' door with a droplight signifies where body panels have been altered removing a window and making a double door. Through the cab windows we can see wire mesh has been fitted to the insides of the white painted windows. Hamish Stevenson.
Two three-car Met-Camm sets have a Class 131 (presumably 55015 due to the small yellow panel) and a wagon on the rear when seen at Carrick Knowe on the outskirts of Edinburgh on 21/5/71. Believed to be a service from Stirling. GM Staddon.

1958 built Class 122 DMBS SC55015 entered service in 1958 and was converted to a Class 131 MPV during September 1971. In this image taken on the 22nd September 1978 she is stabled for the weekend at Haymarket MPD, Edinburgh attached to a 3 Car Class 101 DMU. The 'Parcels Use Only' branding is visible but not readable low down on the far left bodyside of the vehicle. Following use as a driver training vehicle from September 1983 until July 1989 she was withdrawn from service and scrapped at MC Metals, Glasgow during July 1990. Bob Woolnough.

ADB 977177 'SANDRA' at Ardlui on 15/10/84. Sandra was not a womans name but was derived from one of 977177s duties as a 'SAN'-DITE unit to apply SANDITE GEL to assist with Adhesion. On this occasion it was on test on the West Highland Line, neither it or any SANDITE trains were normally used on the West Highland Line. This unit also ran in the summer months as a 'Q' Train which basically ran around the Glasgow suburban network full of BT Police to apprehend unsuspecting trespassers, Spannerman37025.

You Dirty Bubble. Gloucester Class 122 Bubble Car TDB 977177 (formerly Sc55015) stabled at the north end of Eastfield Depot (ED). It has been fitted with a centre headlight. There is a large corporate double arrow at the non brake van end and maybe an Eastfield 'Scotty Dog' adjacent - hard to tell. The adjacent Metro Cammell vehicle has the Haymarket Depot (HA) 'Castle' logo. Date circa April 1988. alicia hartman.
