Bit of a rusty rail manoeuvre here, the Cornish Railway Society's 'China Clay Rambler' railtour on 28 April 1990 formed of a 2 + 3-car class 108 DMU formation with set P828 (52051+59386+51936) leading here. The tour is seen in Gaverigan Tip Sidings, this short branch off the Newquay line was the one time Cornwall Mineral Railways Meledor Mill branch which left the Newquay line at St.Dennis Junction. By this date the sidings once used as a local ballast tip were largely out of use and are thought to have been disconnected from the Newquay branch and removed some time after 1991.
