Details

Stourport-on-Severn station on 5 April 1969.

Train is the 13.45 to Kidderminster via Bewdley (reverse), formed of set TY538, presumably M51131 + 59441 + 51144. The lower ground on the left was the site of sidings leading down to a canal basin. The scene is now completely changed, with a housing estate where the railway used to be. Even St Michael's Church on the right was partly demolished in about 1980; it was begun to 1881 by George Gilbert Scott and was unfinished when it was consecrated in 1910.

Note the red coloured seats inside the unit.
