A Derby Works image (negative 57/462) showing the first Derby suburban triple (Class 116) DMU. Formed of W50092 + W59000 + W50050 it was delivered to Tyseley in April 1957. The marker lamp casings on the lower cab front are not painted in the body colour as they normally were; the outer pair are shallower than normal with plates over them. Taken at Rushton station on the Churnet Valley line, looking south.
