A line up of Buxton allocated Derby built class 108's at Buxton on the 20th April 1988, with the one on the left making a smokey departure from platform 2, the destination blind unusually showing Oxford Road, all services at this time apart - from an early morning sevice to Irlam - terminated at Manchester Piccadilly. On the right is set BX374 (presumably 51568 + 59183 + 51935) and in the middle BX373 (presumably 53932 visible), the set on the left carries no set number.
